AWS is hiring a senior applied scientist for its Kiro LLM training team, part of the Developer Agents and Experiences group behind Kiro IDE and Amazon Q Developer. The work covers reinforcement learning and post-training for large language models aimed at code intelligence, scaling machine learning systems, publishing at ML and NLP conferences, and moving research into production with customers. Applicants need three or more years building machine learning models, a PhD or a master's with six years of applied research, and programming in Java, C++, or Python. Publication record is preferred.
