Physical Intelligence builds foundation models for robots. This role sits on the Runtime team, which owns the platform that robot sensors, actuators and evaluation pipelines run on. The work is Linux and systems engineering: low-latency sensor and actuator pipelines, profiling across compute, I/O, memory, networking and storage, kernel and driver changes for deterministic timing, and real-time video streaming.
