Wayve's MEGA team is hiring a founding Research Scientist to build foundation models for general-purpose robots beyond self-driving vehicles, spanning mobile manipulators, dual-arm platforms and humanoids. The work covers model architectures, learning algorithms, large-scale video data, distributed training pipelines, evaluation and deploying policies on physical robots, using vision-language-action, world and action, and video models. The posting asks for machine-learning experience in robotics or embodied AI, scalable training, a publication record at ICRA, CoRL, CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML or ICLR, and strong coding; a PhD or MS is desirable.
