Anthropic's Takeoff Intel team, part of the Anthropic Institute, measures how much of the company's own model development is AI-assisted. The research engineer builds capability evaluations, large-scale data and analysis pipelines, and fast prototypes turning model outputs and telemetry into reliable metrics that feed system cards and public reporting. The posting seeks candidates who have shipped an evaluation, data product or research library end to end, handle messy large-volume data, and have run experiments on large language models. It is a generalist role, hiring at junior and senior levels.
