Google DeepMind's Generative Media team is hiring a research engineer in Tel Aviv to work on real-time, interactive video models such as Genie. The role covers designing, training and evaluating deep generative models for video and audio synthesis, manipulation and understanding, building datasets, evaluation methods and ML pipelines. The posting asks for four years of experience with diffusion models, transformers or GANs for media synthesis, plus dataset curation and experimentation, and prefers a master's or PhD, multimodal experience, Python with JAX, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and low-latency inference skills.
