OpenAI's Intelligence and Investigations team is hiring a red team specialist for cyber. The work: designing and running evaluations of what models enable for real attackers, testing safeguards against jailbreaks, building automated testing infrastructure, and probing agentic risks such as indirect prompt injection. Candidates need depth in cybersecurity (penetration testing, adversary simulation, vulnerability research) or in model evaluation and agentic harnesses, plus coding ability and some fluency in the other area. Some time goes to Safety Bug Bounty work. Hybrid, three days a week.
