Cohere is hiring a senior product security engineer into its North Security team, remote in Canada. The work is hands-on: leading security reviews of architecture and code, threat modeling new capabilities before they are built, testing shipped products, and investigating suspected vulnerabilities through to remediation. The posting names prompt injection, unsafe tool use, delegation failures, tenant isolation and sandbox escapes as risks to evaluate, and asks for Python, Go or TypeScript plus OAuth/OIDC, Kubernetes and CI/CD experience. Building guardrails and secure defaults other teams inherit is the distinctive part.
