Wayve seeks a principal engineer to lead an offline 3D reconstruction system that turns raw vehicle sensor data into quality-assessed 3D ground truth, supporting internal validation, data enrichment and model development. The work spans architecture and roadmap, early prototypes, interfaces and output representations, plus technical standards for reconstruction quality and failure analysis. It asks for deep SLAM, mapping, state estimation or sensor-fusion expertise, hands-on lidar reconstruction and point-cloud registration, production C++ or Python, and cross-team technical leadership.
