Anthropic is hiring a founding firmware engineer for the BMC stack across its server fleet, spanning x86 and Arm/GPU platforms. The work covers OpenBMC and manageability features built on DMTF/OCP standards (MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, Redfish, IPMI) with Yocto, plus hardening: secure and measured boot, root of trust, attestation, authenticated updates, rollback protection, threat modeling, and fuzzing/static analysis tooling. The posting wants strong C/C++, Python, Linux and D-Bus experience, upstream OpenBMC or U-Boot contributions, and NIST SP 800-193/147/155 familiarity. Preferred: 8+ years in systems security.
