NVIDIA Research seeks a PhD research intern in quantum simulation and AI, on-site in Santa Clara. The intern develops algorithms and software for the quantum computing ecosystem, runs large-scale GPU-cluster experiments, publishes original work, and collaborates with internal machine-learning and quantum teams and external researchers. Candidates should be pursuing a PhD in quantum physics or a related field, have a year-plus of quantum computing research with publications, and know linear algebra, tensor algebraic methods, Python, ideally CUDA, and PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX. Hourly pay is 38–94 USD.
