Google is hiring a technical lead for networking and AI work in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on-site and full-time. The role involves leading high-impact projects, coaching a distributed engineering team, aligning teams on goals and timelines, managing priorities and deadlines, and designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining large-scale software. Candidates need eight years of C++ and five years each of shipping software products and building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks. Preferred: experience building AI or agentic products, or the infrastructure that serves them.
