OpenAI's Network Engineering team, part of IT and Security, is hiring a Network Engineer in San Francisco on a hybrid schedule. The person designs, operates and improves enterprise networks across offices, labs, campuses, PoPs and cloud or hybrid environments — routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, NAC and segmentation — and shares on-call and incident response. The posting asks for hands-on Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto or Arista experience, BGP and OSPF fundamentals, observability tooling, and automation in Python, Go, Terraform or Ansible.
