Perplexity is hiring a software engineer to build the tooling behind its security operations. The work covers automation for alert enrichment, triage and investigation; internal AI agents and bots for monitoring and reporting; the bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure program; threat modelling with product teams; and pipelines that unify signals from cloud, endpoints, SaaS and applications. Four or more years as a software engineer, mostly on security tools, plus Python, Go or TypeScript, SIEM, EDR and AWS. It is open in San Francisco, New York, London, Belgrade and US-remote.
