Fireworks AI is hiring PhD graduates for its Research team as Members of Technical Staff, based in San Mateo or New York on a hybrid schedule. The work is foundational research on LLMs and multimodal systems: designing and evaluating model architectures, training methods and optimization techniques, then helping engineering teams move prototypes into production. Hires are paired with a senior researcher mentor.
