Fireworks AI, which runs inference and training for open models, is hiring a reliability engineer in its Member of Technical Staff track. The role sets SLOs, error budgets and production-readiness standards, owns logging, alerting, failure injection and self-healing automation, runs incident response and blameless postmortems, and works across cloud infrastructure, inference and product teams. The posting asks for 5+ years with Linux internals, networking and a systems language, plus Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker in production. Observability tooling, GPU or ML infrastructure exposure, and AI-assisted operations work are preferred.
