Perplexity's security team needs an offensive security engineer with at least five years of hands-on red team or penetration testing experience. The role covers red and purple team engagements, penetration testing of web, API, mobile and cloud systems, and assessment of AI/ML attack surfaces such as prompt injection, model exfiltration, agent abuse and MCP boundaries. Candidates should know Python or Go, standard offensive tooling, and threat modelling. Findings go to engineering teams and executives. Published research, conference talks, CVE credits or bug bounty work are a bonus.
