Shield AI is hiring a manager for its Autonomous Pilot Integration team, which builds autonomy software for small air- and ground-launched platforms flying in multi-agent fleets, often without connectivity. The manager leads a group of autonomy engineers, hires and mentors them, stays close to the code, and works with perception, autopilot vendors such as PX4 and ArduPilot, and C2 providers. Work covers software-, hardware- and vehicle-in-the-loop testing through live exercises. The role is on-site in Washington, D.C., supporting U.S. and international defense customers.
