Scale AI's Human Frontier Collective is an expert network of researchers who take on project work and can co-author papers with Scale's research team. Matched projects may include evaluating AI models, reviewing and optimizing PyTorch code, building RL environments, and drafting AI safety and policy guardrails. Applicants need a PhD or postdoctoral background in machine learning or computer science, or senior industry experience, plus Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow. Work is remote on a self-set schedule with no minimum commitment; Scale does not sponsor visas.
