Synthesia Roleplay Sessions is a training product in which learners practise conversations with AI avatars and get instant feedback. The ML engineer builds the engine behind the coaching: models that interpret what learners say, score their performance, generate feedback in real time, and decide the avatar's next response. Synthesia calls this applied rather than research work, so it wants both ML understanding and product-focused software development. Requirements include at least seven years as a software engineer, two of them at senior level, plus experience on a high-performing team operating at scale.
