OpenAI's Statsig team seeks a machine learning engineer to lead technical direction for ML-powered experimentation and insights. The role is 0-to-1 and spans predictive modeling, retrieval and LLM systems, simulation, causal inference, datasets, evaluation, and production services. The engineer will build systems that estimate experiment impact, retrieve historical experiments, and support approval-gated decisions.
