PhysicsX, a physics-AI company, is hiring an IT Lead Engineer for its London office, on-site and full-time. The role owns the HPC environment: cluster administration, job scheduling (Slurm/PBS/LSF), performance tuning and capacity planning for CPU/GPU simulation workloads, alongside hands-on IT support, developer tooling, Entra ID governance and compliance. It asks 7–10 years in IT infrastructure or HPC support, two to three of them leading, with Linux, networking, zero-trust and scripting skills. Mentoring junior engineers and building process in a scale-up are central; AV design is a plus.
