OpenAI's Security team, within its Trusted Computing and Cryptography group, is hiring a Hardware Platform Security Architect to own hardware platform security. The work spans co-architecting secure silicon with silicon design, DV, firmware and foundry partners, co-designing secure hardware with kernel, compiler and infrastructure teams, and deploying systems built on TPM2, Secure Boot, Nitro Enclaves, Intel SGX and AMD-SEV, from boot measurements to GPU confidential computation. The posting asks for 10+ years in hardware security or hardware–software co-design, Rust and/or C/C++ with Python, and large-scale secure hardware deployment experience.
