Anthropic's new Field Services group, Foragers, is hiring its first dedicated lab manager to own the company's Bay Area hardware labs. The role covers receiving and racking servers and accelerator platforms, cabling, power and cooling planning, firmware and BIOS setup, out-of-band management, procurement, RMA handling, and vendor and contractor oversight. The posting wants hands-on experience running a hardware or datacenter lab, Linux and networking basics, and comfort with power tools, and notes the lab manager will shape the role as the labs scale.
