Tenstorrent is hiring a GCC compiler engineer to design, develop and optimize GCC and LLVM compilers for its custom RISC-V hardware and AI vector engines. The work is hands-on: benchmarking and tuning applications, co-designing hardware and software, and helping ML engineers add compiler support for new AI workloads and frameworks. It asks for deep GCC and LLVM internals knowledge, strong C/C++ and performance-analysis skills, and comfort across hardware and software. The role is open to all seniorities, hybrid from Santa Clara, Austin or Toronto, with pay listed at $100k–$500k.
