OpenAI is hiring full stack and frontend engineers for its API Experience team, a new NYC-based group working hybrid on the OpenAI API's developer surface: the Playground, documentation, onboarding flows, examples, and SDK and doc pipelines. The role runs end to end, from product definition and UX through backend implementation and measurement. Applicants need five or more years of product engineering, TypeScript and React, a backend language such as Python, Go, Rust or TypeScript, and experience operating production APIs.
