OpenAI's Security team is hiring a Forward Deployed Security Engineer to protect deployments of its technology for public sector customers. The role embeds on-site with customers across the lifecycle, implementing and maintaining security controls, advising on access, authentication, encryption, network and system security, and running assessments, threat monitoring and validation exercises. The posting asks for an active US clearance, 5+ years of security engineering, familiarity with Azure and AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform, and Python or Golang. Hybrid, three days weekly in Washington, DC; travel to customer sites required.
