Anthropic is hiring an Engineering Manager for Anthropic Labs, its internal accelerator for early-stage AI capabilities. The role leads and grows software engineers doing zero-to-one development, partners with design, product, and research, and helps teams test hypotheses, make kill decisions, and move prototypes toward products. The posting asks for 5+ years of engineering management, prior hands-on technical work, comfort with ambiguity, and full-stack and AI/ML familiarity.
