Physical Intelligence is hiring an embedded engineer for its Runtime team, which collaborates with research, hardware and fleet teams. The work covers embedded firmware architecture for data-collection devices, embedded Linux bring-up with real-time sensor processing, drivers, kernel configuration, board bring-up, debugging timing and hardware-software interface problems, and cutting power use in battery-powered devices. Requirements include a BS/MS in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field, C++, Bash and Python, SPI, I2C, UART and USB experience, concurrent firmware, and leading first-of-their-kind devices to production. Linux kernel development is a plus.
