OpenAI's robotics team is hiring an electrical engineer to own parts of the electrical architecture for compact robotic and electromechanical systems, covering sensing, communication, power distribution and actuator interfaces. The work runs from concept and prototyping through circuit design, component selection, PCB layout, bring-up, validation and deployment, alongside mechanical, firmware, software, controls and research teams.
