Anthropic is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead procurement strategy for its data centers' electrical and mechanical equipment — generators, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, chillers, cooling towers, CRAHs and pumps. The work covers commercial negotiations, master purchase agreements, equipment forecasting, global inventory and logistics strategy, and vendor performance. It asks for 7+ years in supply chain, sourcing or procurement and familiarity with data center equipment; 10+ years in critical environments is preferred. Listed pay is a flat $320,000 USD; visa sponsorship is possible but not guaranteed.
