xAI seeks a controls engineer for its Supercomputer Physical Infrastructure team, working onsite in the Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS area. The job is to design, build and commission the automation behind AI training campuses: electrical control panels, PLC code, and HMI and SCADA screens for cooling plants, liquid-cooling loops, electrical distribution and data halls. It asks for an engineering degree and one or more years of automation and controls work, with Siemens or Beckhoff PLC, Ignition, EPlan and NEC/NFPA 79/UL508A knowledge preferred. Extended hours and travel are required.
