Amazon's Prime Video Commerce Insights team in London is hiring an Applied Scientist to build and ship machine learning that personalises the commerce journey across subscriptions, channels and transactional video. The work covers reinforcement learning, recommendation systems, causal inference and behavioural modelling, with experiments that must hold up in large-scale production systems. Basic qualifications include publications or patents, programming in Java, C++, Python or similar, and machine learning model building; a PhD, or a master's degree plus research experience, is required. Unix/Linux and professional software development are preferred.
