Amazon's AWS Applied AI Solutions group seeks an Applied Scientist II in Seattle, on-site, to build supply chain applications. The person will design and deploy models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization and anomaly detection, plus generative and agentic AI to automate supply chain workflows, from problem formulation and data requirements through offline evaluation, A/B testing and production deployment. The posting asks for three or more years building models for business applications, a PhD or a master's with four years' experience, and programming in Java, C++, Python or similar.
