PhysicsX, a UK-headquartered company applying AI to industrial engineering, is forming a research team in Singapore to build physical foundation models with customers and partners. The applied scientist turns physics and engineering problems into mathematical formulations, builds models that predict the behaviour of physical systems, and owns research work-streams according to seniority, publishing and presenting results. The posting asks for a PhD in a relevant field, a publication record in venues such as NeurIPS or ICML, and Python and deep learning experience, ideally more than two years in a data-driven role.
