Amazon Robotics is hiring an Applied Science Manager to lead its Perception team. The manager will oversee applied scientists and engineers, set a roadmap for 3D scene understanding, occupancy prediction, depth estimation and multi-view fusion, and guide perception models from research to deployment on robots. Duties include hiring, performance management, cross-functional work with motion planning and hardware, and delivery oversight. Qualifications include a PhD, or a master's and four years research experience, six years of applied research, three years managing scientists or ML engineers, deep learning libraries and publications.
