Fireworks AI, which sells a platform for building and serving models, is hiring an Applied ML Engineer to connect research work with deployed applications. The job covers fine-tuning and operationalizing models, building and presenting demos and proofs of concept alongside sales and solutions teams, deploying end-to-end AI applications, adding features and fixing bugs in the internal ML platform, and improving serving performance. The posting asks for a bachelor's degree, five or more years in software engineering, preferably customer-facing, and Python; fine-tuning experience with SFT and RLHF or RFT is preferred.
