OpenAI is hiring an Applied AI Engineer for its Applied AI Engineering team, focused on Codex and early-stage startups, based on-site in London. The job mixes hands-on work with developer-facing advocacy: building Codex workflows, integrations and automations with selected customers, writing reusable examples and tools, and leading talks, demos, workshops and hackathons. It asks for software engineering fundamentals, startup experience, active use of AI coding tools, and strong presentation skills. Feedback from developers is fed back to OpenAI's product, research and engineering teams.
