OpenAI's Applied AI Engineering team is hiring an engineer to work with quantitative investment and trading firms applying OpenAI models and Codex to research and development workflows. The job is hands-on: writing code, building prototypes and evaluation harnesses, resolving integrations, and leading technical workshops, then carrying customer feedback into product teams. Candidates should have quantitative research or development experience and strong Python; deep LLM deployment experience helps but quant expertise and fast learning matter more. Based in London, hybrid three days a week, with relocation assistance.
