OpenAI is hiring an Applied AI Engineer for its Agent Enablement team in San Francisco. The person will work with strategic partners to design, build, launch and maintain agent integrations involving OAuth, OIDC, connectors, MCP servers, APIs and CLIs. Duties include writing production and sample code, reviewing architectures, running evaluations, debugging identity and agent workflows, and feeding partner patterns into ChatGPT and Codex improvements. The posting seeks 4–6 years of software or AI engineering experience plus partner-facing work. It is hybrid, three days weekly in office, with relocation assistance.
