OpenAI is hiring an Applied AI Architect in Tokyo, on-site and full-time, as senior technical owner for a named portfolio of enterprise customers. The work covers technical account plans across ChatGPT Enterprise, the API and Codex, executive discovery, architectures spanning models, data, integration, security and evaluation, and guiding proofs of value into production. Commercial strategy sits with an Account Director; technical strategy sits with this role. It asks for customer-facing solutions architecture or AI deployment experience, cloud architecture foundations, familiarity with LLMs and agentic systems, and Python or JavaScript.
