OpenAI is hiring an Applied AI Architect for its AI Architect team, based in San Francisco on a hybrid schedule. The architect owns technical strategy for a named portfolio of enterprise customers, guiding them from pre-sales discovery through production adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise, the OpenAI API, Codex and agentic AI solutions. Work includes use-case prioritisation, architecture design covering data, integration, security, privacy and evaluation, prototypes and proofs of value, and feeding field insights back to product and research teams.
