Anthropic's Fellows Program, Economics & Policy workstream, pays for four months of full-time research with mentorship from Anthropic researchers and about $15,000 a month in compute funding. Fellows choose or are matched to projects on AI's economic effects, labor markets, cyber and bio offense–defense balance, model performance under custom harnesses, and early-warning metrics for AI R&D. Applicants need fluency in Python, empirical research experience and clear writing; prior economics or policy work helps. Work authorization in the US, UK or Canada is required, and visas are not sponsored.
