Google's XR team is hiring a technical lead for Android XR application compatibility. The work centres on an automated evaluation framework: app crawlers using computer vision and LLMs, vision models that detect spatial layout problems, rendering distortions, overlapping UI and input collisions in XR, and regression detectors for OS-level compatibility overrides. The role also covers a unified app runner for physical devices, emulators and cloud environments, and work with Android and Android XR platform teams. Requirements: a computer science degree or equivalent and five years of software development.
