OpenAI's Global Affairs team is hiring an Agent Standards Specialist, called an Agent Standards Manager in the posting, to lead its external technical standards strategy for AI agents. The work covers identity, discovery, delegated authorization, agentic commerce, web access, provenance, and auditability: drafting and negotiating specifications, profiles, and assurance criteria, coordinating approvals across Security, Product, Engineering, Legal, and GTM, and representing OpenAI at IETF, FIDO, OIDF, W3C, and NIST or ISO efforts.
