A 2027 summer internship on Waymo's software engineering team, focused on simulation and data for autonomous driving. The intern builds multimodal pipelines in Python or C++ that combine camera, LiDAR and 3D map data for machine learning models, prototypes vision-language model workflows to detect driving scenarios and road changes, and builds ground-truth evaluation datasets measuring precision and recall.
