A summer 2027 internship on Waymo's simulation-realism ML infrastructure work, based in London and described as hybrid onsite. The intern contributes to projects that maintain millions of multi-modal examples and petabytes of feature data, builds new systems to improve existing workflows, and works with users and agents to find use cases and flows that can be improved. Applicants must be enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in computer science or a related technical field, and should know Python or C++, distributed systems, and ML training and inference lifecycles. Preferred: feature extraction, TensorFlow or Jax, autonomous driving or robotics.
