Waymo's Systems Engineering team is hiring a summer 2027 software engineering intern to build test infrastructure for autonomous driving. The intern will design, implement and test tooling and test runners in C++ and Python to scale test execution on hardware-in-the-loop benches and simulation platforms, and build pipelines for failure triage, regression testing and qualification reporting. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor's in a technical field with C++ proficiency and computer science fundamentals. Python, HIL or CI/CD experience is preferred. Pay is $60 per hour.
