Fei-Fei Li runs the spatial-intelligence company World Labs, created ImageNet and founded Stanford HAI, where she is now Stanford's special advisor on AI.

Fei-Fei Li is co-founder and chief executive of World Labs, the spatial-intelligence company she started in 2024 with Justin Johnson, Ben Mildenhall and Christoph Lassner; it announced a $1 billion funding round in February 2026, and its first product, Marble, builds 3D worlds from images, video or text. She is the Sequoia Professor of computer science at Stanford and founding director of Stanford HAI, and since May 2026, when HAI merged with Stanford Data Science under director James Landay, she has been the university's special advisor on AI to president Jonathan Levin. She created ImageNet, was chief scientist for AI and machine learning at Google Cloud from 2017 to 2018, and co-founded the non-profit AI4ALL.
