Andrew Feldman is an American technology entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Cerebras Systems, the semiconductor company behind the Wafer-Scale Engine, whose latest version it calls 'the world's largest and fastest commercialized AI processor'. He took a BA in economics and political science at Stanford in 1991 and an MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1997. He co-founded the low-power server company SeaMicro with Gary Lauterbach in 2007; AMD agreed to buy it in February 2012 for about $334 million. In 2015 he started Cerebras with Lauterbach and three other SeaMicro colleagues, Michael James, Sean Lie and Jean-Philippe Fricker, to build silicon designed for AI rather than graphics. Cerebras listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market as CBRS on 14 May 2026, selling 34.5 million shares at $185 for gross proceeds of about $6.38 billion — a fully diluted valuation of $56.4 billion at that offer price, by TechCrunch's count — and closed its first day up roughly 68%. In the quarter to June 2026 the company reported core revenue of $209.9 million and $25.4 billion of remaining performance obligations. TIME put Feldman on its 2026 TIME100 AI list.
