Make began as Integromat, an integration/automation platform founded in 2012 in the Czech Republic. Celonis, the German-American process-mining company, acquired Integromat in October 2020 for a reported $100M+. In February 2022 Integromat was rebranded as Make and positioned as a standalone product line within Celonis. Make lets users visually design, build, and automate workflows connecting thousands of apps and systems without writing code, competing with tools like Zapier and n8n. Prague serves as its central product and engineering hub, alongside other Celonis offices globally. As part of Celonis, Make benefits from its parent's scale; Celonis itself was founded in 2011 by Alex Rinke, Bastian Nominacher, and Martin Klenk as a spin-off from the Technical University of Munich and has since become one of Europe's largest enterprise software companies, with dual headquarters in Munich and New York.
